MUSICAL THEATRE PROGRAMS FOR AGES 8-12

These classes include voice, acting, and dance. Students participate in a group vocal class, and learn acting techniques through work with scenes, monologues and fun games and activities. They then combine this with their knowledge of dance for a true musical theatre experience! They are also taught the importance of diction and given techniques to improve their clarity of speech. Students learn pieces from many different musicals throughout the year and then have the opportunity to perform in the Shine recitals. Acting classes not only help a student to be a better actor, singer and dancer, but they also greatly help with one’s confidence.

SHINE ON!

A voice/ dance/ acting performance group available to our students starting at age 6. Students have the opportunity to perform at local Las Vegas events about once per month. Students participate in a weekly class and are required to take at least one other class at the studio

MUSICALS

Each season, Shine produces a full musical production. Students rehearse once a week for approximately 3 months. Costumes, props and sets are provided. Performances are at a professional theater.
